Available · Product Manager · 2 iOS apps shipped · Asbury Park, NJ · remote

Indie developer who has built 2 apps and instrumented them end-to-end in Mixpanel, running onboarding conversion experiments to find the flow that turns installs into paying users. Before that, nine years of product work as a cofounder, COO, and chief of staff, scaling new and existing products, including a K-12 education company I helped grow from one location to five nationwide, 1,000 students, and $1M in revenue before it was acquired.

What brings me here

I’ve spent the past four years as a VPP cheerleader, DER enthusiast, and microgrid nerd. It would be amazing to contribute to your mission and help harness millions of distributed energy resources and build a cleaner, more reliable power system. I would love the opportunity to build alongside your team at EnergyHub.

Lead and extend the core platform for managing distributed energy resources
My illustrated guide to the Inflation Reduction Act is a drawing of exactly that fleet: rooftop solar, battery storage, an EV on a charger, heat pumps, a smart panel. 250,000 impressions, and local governments adopted it as their explainer for residents. Case 01 →
Define, prioritize and iterate on features through hypotheses and validation of those hypotheses
I instrumented Free Time before changing any of it, then ran conversion experiments against a stated hypothesis. Trial to paid runs 61.6% all-time across 426 days tracked, download to paid 6.8%. Case 02 →
Break down complex problems into incremental product solutions
Unplug OS asks a user to give up their smartphone unless it is plugged in. I specified that onboarding as a 24-screen, three-act flow and iterated it to v12 as a tappable prototype before writing production code. Case 03 →
Uncover insights from analytics, user research and cross-functional input
I built one dashboard joining Mixpanel activation, RevenueCat subscription state and App Store Connect acquisition, because no single tool could answer whether a cohort converted. Case 02 →
Align and influence cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders
At Dashboard.Earth, a consumer climate app, I developed the OKRs and built the process that let product, design, operations and leadership talk to each other, managing a cross-functional team of 10 on a $1.6M Rockefeller Foundation budget.
Passion for sustainability, renewable energy and driving positive environmental impact
I have built an audience of 55,000 around climate work and reached more than 3 million people with it, worked directly with scientists and policy experts at DOE, RMI, Harvard and MIT, and run an open-source database that helps people find climate jobs. Case 04 →
